Celebrating a remarkable 10-year journey at Sub-Drill, Susan Reid has truly made her mark as a Production Manager known for her leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence. Starting her career at Sub-drill in 2014 as a Production Coordinator, Susan's unwavering dedication and talent quickly led her to ascend into her current managerial role, where she continues to drive the team toward success.

Before joining Sub-Drill, Susan garnered a wealth of production experience over ten years at Mackies, a role that nurtured her attention to detail and understanding of operational efficiency. Following her time at Mackies, she expanded her expertise with a stint at General Electric, allowing her to bring a diverse skill set to Sub-Drill.

With a collaborative approach, Susan thrives on teamwork and doesn't shy away from getting her hands dirty to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard. She believes that true leadership consists of being in the trenches alongside her team, fostering an atmosphere of support and camaraderie.

Away from work, Susan’s adventurous spirit shines through. You can often find her hiking up Bennachie to catch the sunrise before her workday begins. She has also recently taken the plunge into cold water dipping in the North Sea, adding a refreshing twist to her active lifestyle.

Susan also takes great pride in fostering team spirit during the festive season by hosting Sub-Drill's annual Christmas quiz, which has become a much-anticipated and competitive event, showcasing her ability to blend work with fun.
